UU Council Programs and Speakers
The Unitarian Universalist Council of Greater Cincinnati is pleased to provide programs and speakers to it's member congregations and other Cincinnati faith communities.
The Unitarian Universalist faith has a strong tradition of lay led services and ministry, an outgrowth of our focus on social witness and action. To request additional information on speakers or to schedule a program email: email@example.com
Our Whole Lives (OWL) is a UUA supported program for sexuality education. It is offered every two years through a joint effort of our member congregations. Download the brochure for more information about the program. OWL
Spiritual Hospitality Workshop 'Talking To Strangers'
Spiritual Hospitality refers to the practices of many different faith communities as they reach out and welcome others into their group. The practices have a common thread of mindful communication. Seen through the lens of our UU Principles, mindful communication is a way to actively demonstrate a belief in the inherent worth and dignity of each person by working towards an active empathy in our relationships.
This workshop combines experiential learning and discussion in a focused 2 to 2.5 hours. Individual session size limited to 8 - 10. Participants need only bring a pencil or pen and some scrap paper. Cost is $2 per participant.
