About the Church:
Heritage Church is Cincinnati's only UU congregation with Universalist
roots. Founded in 1827 as the First Universalist Society of Cincinnati, it
is now located in a beautiful new building on Newtown Road in Anderson
Township.
The first thing most visitors notice about us is our beloved “round window,” which offers a meditative view from our sanctuary out toward the natural beauty of our church grounds. Visitors also comment about the warmth and genuine sense of welcome they feel in our growing, vital congregation. Heritage has a “family” feel – in part because of our active children's programming, and in part because of the hospitality that traces back to our Universalist roots.
At Heritage you will find spiritually moving worship experiences, thought-provoking adult classes and discussion groups, exciting programs for children and youth, frequent opportunities for fellowship ('food for the body, and the soul'), and – perhaps most importantly of all – a true sense of community. We look forward to welcoming you!
